They are certainly looking more and more like homes each day! Phase 5 has made some great progress in the last few weeks thanks to the hard work of our build site volunteers, both beginner and highly skilled. With the exception of a ceiling, the second floor walls and framing are just about complete which means it’s almost time to begin working on framing the roof and installing ceiling joists. Volunteers have nearly completed the framing in the basements as well! Our goal is to be able to complete the roof before the winter storms arrive. Once this step is completed we can move inside and begin some “warmer” tasks.
